The maps on the website can be used
interactively. The four buttons on the right of the map work as
follows:
 |
Zoom in on the map: Select this button and click on the map. The place were you click will become the center of the new map showing a smaller area. |
 |
Zoom out of the map: Select this button and click on the map. The place were you click will become the center of the new map showing a larger area. |
 |
Recenter the map: Select this button and click on the map. The place were you click will become the center of the new map with the same zoom level as before. |
 |
Get info on a station: Select this button and click on a station (i.e. dot or circle). A pop-up window will give you the details of the station closest to the point where you clicked. |
Other options on the right of the map give
links to download the map as a graph or to download the station data
as ASCII files. It is also possible to show the name of the stations
and/or countries on the map by selecting the appropriate box. Clicking
on reset map will result in an empty map with default zoom
level and center point.
